This charming ground floor apartment in the heart of the city looks through large windows into the backyard garden of a beautiful old Berlin building. It has a comfortable terrace where you can sit and have a drink or meal. The open fully equipped kitchen has a colorful selection of kitchenware with all necessary equipment including a microwave. The bathroom has a tub, washing machine and dryer. The main room is originally decorated with a large oil painting of the Ghanaian artist Ablade Glover, an exquisite Kuba textile panel from Zaire and a big Cambodian Buddha statue. It has a queen size bed, a mobile flat screen TV and fast wireless internet. There is an elegant entrance to the building.
The apartment is located on Maerkisches Ufer right on the historical harbour, just few steps away from the Spree riverbanks and Fischerinsel in a calm street with attractive cafes. Also you can find a variety of different small restaurants on boats where you can enjoy the breeze and views. It is surrounded by lush parks and embassy gardens and represents an ideal place for walks or jogging. The peaceful Koellnischer Park around the corner invites for a walk as well.
