Most popular apartments for rent in Greenwich

Greenwich
For a picturesque village life in the big city.

You’ll love this…
Greenwich is a picture perfect borough, with gorgeous Georgian and Victorian houses on peaceful, leafy streets. There’s plenty to keep you busy around here, with museums, pubs and restaurants, the famous O2 Arena, and Greenwich Park.

... oh, and it’s also home to one of the best markets in London. Street food, antiques, boutique shops, and fashion; you’ll find it all at Greenwich market. It’s been going strong since 1737 and is open 7 days a week.

But you won’t love this…
Looking for a wild night out, or London’s trendiest new restaurant? Greenwich doesn’t attract the hippest of the hip, so maybe look westward to Brixton, or just north of the river to Bethnal Green. Greenwich sure is a lovely place to live though.

How do I get Around?
Buses stop on most streets, and the area is well-served by the DLR and National Rail Services. Underground stations are a little scarce south of the Thames, but North Greenwich Station serves the Jubilee Line.

Will I like it here?...
If you’re looking for a family-friendly borough in central London, with a village like feel and oodles of charm, then Greenwich is just the ticket.

What can I do here?...
Check the schedule at the O2! The famous London venue hosts the world's biggest musical acts, like U2, the Arctic Monkeys, and even Britney Spears.

Visit great museums! The most famous is Cutty Sark, but for something a bit different check out the Fan Museum. It’s more interesting than it sounds, and they have a cosy cafè with a good menu. Just read what this Google reviewer has to say:

“Cool small museum specializing in fan- it’s the only fan museum in the world. Has a permanent exhibition in the ground and a variant in the first. The tea / orangery is very cool as well. Worth a visit.”

Time fact
Time starts in Greenwich. By that we mean that Greenwich is the prime meridian that serves as the basis for the world’s standard time system. This was decided in 1884 after a vote between 41 different nations.
