Redbridge
Your green and residential seclude.

You’ll love this...
Your new home is known as the green borough because of the leafy roads and many parks. The area is very family-friendly and has a few busier hubs with a friendly village feel.

But you won’t love this...
Redbridge is a bit of a trip from Central London.

How do I get Around
There are Underground stations scattered through the area and they are all on the central line. This means that even if you live as far out as you can get in Redbridge, you’ll be within an hour of Liverpool Street Station.

Will I like it here?...
If you like the peace and quiet and green open spaces - this is the borough for you.

Really? Tell me more?...
The area is perfect for families as it’s safe and has lots of schools and fun activities for the wee ones.

Make sure you stop for a cup of coffee at Creative Biscuit Ceramics Café. They have a great menu and the kids can be creative with cups, vases, money boxes and tons of other ceramics while you catch up with a friend.

We know kids can easily ruin their clothes when they get their hands on paint. But this google reviewer assures us it’ll be fine: “Friendly staff and with good activities for kids who like painting. Beware, it can get messy. But everything washes off.”

What can I do here?...
Go for a long walk through the beautiful Valentine’s Park and stop för a picnic by a picturesque pond or flower garden.

If you’re feeling extra active the park also has a popular outdoor gym.

I’m still not convinced...
It might not have the stylish and eclectic restaurants you’ll find in central London. But Redbridge still has lots of cheap and cheerful places, with tasty manus, where you can go for a bite.

Music Fact Iron Maiden are from Ilford and Louise Weener of the Sleeper is from Gants Hill, 2 of many smaller areas located within Redbridge.
