The area
Imagine a neighborhood in Rome that blends the authenticity of the ancient city with a touch of modernity and vibrancy... This is Testaccio, a place rich in history, culture and unique flavors.
Here you can still feel the throb of ancient Rome, especially when you realize that Monte Testaccio, right in the heart of the neighborhood, is an ancient man-made hill made of fragments of Roman amphorae.
But Testaccio is not just ancient history: today it is a lively neighborhood where you can experience authentic Capitoline life. Its streets are full of bars, cafes and restaurants, where you can taste traditional Roman dishes such as coda alla vaccinara, Roman-style tripe or the famous carciofi alla giudia.
Speaking of Testaccio, it is impossible not to mention its vibrant nightlife. From quiet evenings in neighborhood bars to lively nightclubs, there is something for everyone.
Finally, not to be missed are the art galleries and colorful murals that reflect the neighborhood's innovative spirit, as well as the famous local market, the Mercato di Testaccio.
The apartment
Perfect for staying in the Eternal City, this three-room apartment will make you feel at home from the very first moment. The white surfaces such as floors, walls and ceilings, give the whole place a lot of brightness. Let us now look at the different spaces that make up the three-room apartment.
Upon entering the house, we immediately find ourselves in the living room. Welcoming us is a dining table with four of the total six seats, placed not far from the sofa bed and TV cabinet. The window next to it gives light to the whole room for most of the day. The kitchen, where white and wood reign supreme, is equipped with major appliances such as an oven, microwave, stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. Adding to the uniqueness of the room is a built-in bench made especially comfortable by back cushions. Perfect, in short, for a breakfast on the fly before a visit to the city!
Moving into the sleeping area we encounter the bedrooms. Here, too, white is the undisputed protagonist; it is then the details that make the difference. In the first of the two double bedrooms, for example, it is the patterned wallpaper that dominates the scene. Completing the decor is a small television set opposite the bed, two bedside tables with their respective abat-jours, an open closet and the French window with access to the small balcony. Also in the second master bedroom, capturing the scene is the painting behind the headboard of the bed, which with its muted colors goes well with the rest of the room. Here, too, there is a television and dressing table that serves as a nightstand with their respective abat-jours.
The gem of this room is the en suite bathroom, complete with bathtub-shower and fixtures. This, like the other bathroom in the home, features a marble effect covering all surfaces. In the second bathroom, however, there is a large walk-in shower.
