Spotahome's opinion
This is a lovely 2-bedroom apartment for rent near Madrid's ever-popular Retiro park. The apartment has a large living room with a TV, large sofa, 2 armchairs, a small coffee table and a dining table, with external views of Madrid. There is also an assortment of storage space available. Moving onto the kitchen, it is a bright and long room with an oven, dishwasher, electric stove, lots of storage space, and also a small extension that has a laundry room with a washing machine. The shared bathroom has a glass shower cubicle, sink and toilet. Bedroom 1 is a double room with a built-in wardrobe, and Bedroom 2 has twin single beds - however, it has the added benefit of its own private en-suite bathroom, complete with a shower over bath, toilet and sink.
The main benefit of living near Retiro is access to the Madrid's Metro line 1, the "main" line that runs north to south. Plus, you get to go to the beautiful Retiro park whenever you get the chance!
What we liked the most
- Great interiors will make you feel right at home.
- 2 bathrooms - because morning races and queues suck.
- Close to Retiro - it's one of the highlights of weekends in Madrid
- Access to Metro Line 1 - it runs through the centre of the city, and you get pretty much anywhere using it. That's why it's Line 1!
