Neighborhood information

Salamanca: As Madrid’s affluent neighborhood, you’ll find a New York-style grid of roads and the “Milla de Oro”, comprised of Calle Serrano, Velázquez, and Ortega y Gasset, which are three of the most expensive streets in all of Spain. But not everything is designer: many of the other side streets have unique boutiques and hip restaurants. With a 19th century bourgeoisie feel, you’ll have great shopping options, Retiro at the end of Calle Serrano at the Puerta de Alcalá, and the IE Business School campus all within walking distance.

What we liked the most

  • The apartment is very cosy - it's ideal for someone who wants an intimate yet comfortable home.
  • Although it may be small, the apartment comes fully furnished and offers everything you might need during your stay in Madrid.
  • You can't beat this central location especially when it's THIS central - everything Madrid has to offer is practically at your doorstep.
  • The apartment has A/C to keep you cool during the hot summer months.

Things to keep in mind

  • The apartment has a small kitchen with basic necessities, but with such variety of Spanish restaurants around you we can guarantee this won't be a problem.
  • Please note that the current price is based on stays longer than 10 months - if you wish to rent the apartment for shorter stays, please ask for the price.
