What is it like to live here according to the Landlord?

We offer two rooms in a spacious family home in Paris. One is 15m2, the other is a smaller spare room for short stays of 10M2 in a very spacious and bright duplex, furnished with a double bed (with comforter and pillows), a desk and chair and storage space. We're just a 5-minute walk from pretty Parc Montsouris and the bars of the Butte aux Cailles district. All shops are less than a minute's walk away: bakeries, chemists, various supermarkets, cinemas, bars, brasseries, restaurants, etc. Close to all public transport, 250 meters from Alésia metro station, Line 4, RER B. We look forward to your visit!

    Firstly, please grab the following documents. You’ll need them in the next stage of your application, and you won’t be able to make a booking without them.

    If you are a professional, you need to provide:

    • ID or Passport
    • Proof of income (3x higher than the rent and charges)
    • Residence permit (signed employment contract or offer letter from your future employer should work too).

    If you are a student, you need the same documents from your guarantor.

    Why do I need these documents?

    Landlord policies

    Little life rules for all of us :

    Bathroom :

    After each passage, please make sure to leave everything clean for the others: the bath, the sink

    etc. You can find a sponge and CIF for washing, and clear the little bins when full up.

    The twins are using the left sink, and the student the right one. You can use the drawers for your stuff,

    everyone has one.

    When you need to change the bathroom carpet, you can find one in the corridor cupboard.

    W.C: Same thing for the cleaning and emptying the bin when full.

    Kitchen: Please make sure to clean after cooking the pans and the stove.

    Also please do not put any warm dishes on the kitchen worktop.

    The cleaning products are under the sink

    Please verify the gas is well closed.

    Micro Wave: please cover your plate for warming (so it doesn’t splash inside :)

    NOTE: Common areas: kitchen and bathroom only

    The use of the kitchen is available to tenants for the preparation of simple meals at breakfast,

    lunch and dinner time for a period of max 30-40min and no later than 20:00

    Exceptions to that rule can be made strictly upon prior agreement with me.

    Fridge: make sure your shelf stays clean

    Bedroom windows: make sure the windows are always closed when you are out for the rain!

    Security: No smoking in the bedrooms, no extra heater or powerful devices.

    Washing machine (program 59 minutes), there is a mechanical dryer where you can hang the

    cloth for drying.

    NB: The washing machine needs a little reparation but meanwhile, to open it, please use

    the green ribbon by sliding it around the washing machine frame and pulling sharply to

    open the porthole

    How to book

    With Spotahome, in-person visits are a thing of the past. Our team verifies the property to offer video tours and photos so you can view them online. We collect all the information you need to make your decision.
    With just a few simple details you can request the property and it will be held for you until you get a response. Remember, we won't charge you until the Landlord confirms.
    The Landlord has 24 hours to respond to your booking request. If they accept, your payment method will be charged and we will put you in contact with the Landlord. If they don’t accept, no worries, you won't be charged and we'll help you find alternatives.
    Arrange your move-in date, key collection and anything else directly with your Landlord. As an extra security step, we will only transfer the first month's rent to the Landlord 48 hours after you move in, unless you contact us with a problem.
