Spotahome's opinion
A lovely ground floor 1-bedroom apartment with a terrace is available for rent in tranquil Portuense. The apartment has a small kitchen/living room with a sofa-bed and dining table, along with a flat-screen TV. The kitchen has lots of cupboard space, a full size fridge-freezer, and has an electric oven with a gas stove. The bedroom has a large wardrobe, a chest of drawers, and a double bed. There is a top-loading washing machine in the bathroom, which has a standing shower, washbasin, toilet, and bidet. The private terrace has a small table and is a lovely place to have a meal al fresco.
The apartment is in a quiet, gated complex in a residential area, but there is a main road nearby with lots of shopping, including local grocery stores. There is a train station a few minutes' walk away which can take you to Roma Termini station in the centre of the city in 15-20 minutes. Nearby, you can walk along the banks of the Tiber, a pleasant summer stroll.
What we liked the most
- It's lovely to have the small, private terrace.
- You will have a sofa-bed for when guests visit.
- Local shops, including grocery stores, are very convenient.
- Central Rome is less than 30 minutes away, with a short walk and train journey.

The room is for two people, if it is booked individually you have to pay a penalty of 150.00 euros per month.
