Spotahome's opinion
This spacious 2-bedroom apartment is available to rent on Via Portuense. The apartment is in a modern building, with a completely furnished, contemporary interior. The open-plan kitchen and living area is very bright and spacious, and comes with all the modern appliances. There are 2 bathrooms too, 1 of which is en-suite for the master bedroom. Each are new and spotless, and have shower cubicles.
A residential area in the south west of the city, Portuense, although well served by bus, is not connected to the centre by Metro. This makes it a much more peaceful, tourist-free area than much of Rome. If a more relaxed and peaceful pace of life is your speed, then this is the place for you. There's plenty of useful nearby shopping, and great local restaurants nearby.
What we liked the most
- Bedroom 1 has big double doors which open to the street, letting the outside in.
- There is AC in the living area and bedroom 1, which will be very welcome in the hot summer months.
- It's just a 15-minute walk down the hill from the apartment to the river.
- One of the best restaurants in the area, MeAT, is just a couple of minute's walk away.
