Ostiense is an up-and-coming neighborhood in Rome. It was previously an industrial area and has recently undergone an urban revitalization. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, and unique shops for you to explore, and public transportation is handy to help you zip around town.
What we liked the most
- The kitchen is modern and fully equipped to cook with an oven and a dishwasher.
- There is a lovely balcony with pretty street views.
- The apartment has lovely polished wooden floors.
- Ostiense gives a feel for authentic Italy. Don't expect to find many ethnic restaurants in this area, but the Italian food is second to none!
