Neighborhood information

Built in the 1930s, Parioli is a safe and residential area that has the best of both worlds: a wide variety of popular restaurants and a vibrant nightlife, but it is a part of the city that still maintains a quiet atmosphere. This area of the city is situated away from many sites in Rome and though it lacks a metro system, it has a bus system nearby and plenty of taxis that will take you to the historical centre of Rome.

Locals enjoy a varied selection of bars, fine restaurants, green spaces and public parks; it is one of the most elegant parts of the city and in fact, some consider it to be the most luxurious. The new music auditorium, Parco della Musica, designed by the architect Renzo Piano, has brought new life to the area.

What we liked the most

  • All rooms to rent are equipped with an independent key and heating.
  • The rooms face an interior courtyard away from the street, making them silent.
  • The apartment is close to the train, metro and bus.
  • The kitchen is fully equipped, including a stove and an oven.

Things to keep in mind

  • There is no living area in the apartment, but there is a table in the kitchen where tenants can enjoy a meal or relax outside of their rooms.
