Tiburtina is home to the second largest train station in all of Rome. Its strategic position keeps the neighbourhood well-connected to the rest of the city and makes commuting and traveling easier for residents. On the majority of Friday and Saturday nights, many of Tiburtina’s streets become pedestrian-only and you can see Romans enjoying themselves into the early hours of the morning. This is an area of predominantly inexpensive high-rise apartments dating back to the economic book of the 1950s.
