Neighborhood information

Quatre Carreres, which means Four Roads in Valencian, is named after the four roads that veer out from Ruzafa and stretch to the four extremes of the city. Though you can find touristic sites in this area, such as the Pabelló de la Font San Luis (home to basketball games), the primary attraction of Quatre Carreres is without a doubt the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències, or the City of Arts and Sciences. Valencia’s very own Santiago de Calatrava constructed this architectural marvel, which today houses numerous pools, an aquarium, a planetarium, and a concert hall.
