A room is available for rent in a gorgeous family home in Artane. The house is large, with 2 living rooms, each bright, with comfortable sofas and large TVs, a dining room, and a spacious kitchen. There is also a lovely garden with a decked area with a patio table. The house has one full bathroom upstairs, and a separate toilet room downstairs. The whole house is spotless, lovingly decorated, comfortably furnished, and equipped with modern fittings. You'll feel at home as soon as you move in.
You will be living in Artane, in a residential area, but just a short walk from Kilmore Road, where you can find loads of useful shops, including Tesco and Lidl supermarkets, a Penneys, and Artane shopping centre, as well as a Post Office, pharmacy, and others. Also very nearby is a large, open park, where you can enjoy the sun on warm days. On Kilmore Road you can also catch the 104 bus, which will bring you directly to Dublin City University in about 20 minutes.
Canceling your stay with Spotahome? Here’s what you need to know:
a) The good news: if you cancel your booking 61 days (or more) before your move-in date, we promise to refund 100% of your first payment.
b) If you cancel 31 to 60 days before your move-in date, we will refund 50% of your first payment. The other 50% will be given to the landlord.
c) If you cancel your stay within 30 days of your move-in date, 100% of your first payment will be given to the landlord.
d) The bad news: once your booking is accepted by the landlord, you cannot recover your one-time reservation fee at any point.
Before you book, let’s meet Sharon. She will be your landlady.
Sharon lives on the property with her children and pets (including a dog). She works from home, and is an “outdoorsy” type – that means walking in the countryside and long bike rides.
What does she expect from her perfect tenant?
Another explorer; the type of person who prefers leaving the house to staying in… but who still frees up some time for watching TV at night.
But when you’re at home, Sharon has the same rules as all of us:
Tidy up after yourself, show respect to the property and the family, and try not to come back home at 3am.
And one final thing:
When it comes to booking the property, please tell Sharon about yourself. Introduce yourself, talk about your hobbies, and your plans while you’re staying in Dublin. It will help her to better understand you and your needs.
