It’s a residential and business area with shiny, impressive skyscrapers. Head to Plaza Europa for the best buildings, including the famous 28-storey Hotel Porta Fira. Not too many tourists come here, unless they love skyscrapers, too! Or they’ve wandered off from the musical Magic Fountain in nearby Montjuic.
You’ll find plenty to talk about with your fellow students living here. It’s handy for many universities. Especially the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, which is about 3 kilometers away.
Fancy visiting the sights? Hop on the train and you’re in Barcelona city center in around 12 minutes.
