Battersea is London’s latest up-and-coming district.
Battersea went from farmland to industrial wasteland before before doing a complete 180. Now it’s attracting developers, young professionals and families because of its close proximity to downtown London and good quality of life.
The Cambridge International College is located in Battersea, but most of the bigger universities are on the other side of the Thames in Central London and easily accessible by the train.
Battersea is still relatively cheap compared to the rest of London, but prices are slowly rising. Sharing with other students will keep costs low so you’ll have more money to spend going out.
