This completely-renovated, luminous 3-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment is located on Calle de Fray José Cerderiña in Madrid's Aluche neighborhood. There are individual A/C units in the bedrooms as well as the living room, ideal for hot Madrid summers. There is electric heating inside the apartment and a kitchen with an electric stove; however, keep in mind that there is no oven. You can dry your clothes on strings in the apartment's interior patio and the washing machine is located in the kitchen area underneath the sink.
The apartment is located in the southwestern part of Madrid in the Aluche area, which is multicultural and close to the main Extranjería (or immigration) office. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, popular for families with its proximity to Madrid's largest park, Casa de Campo, as well as the Plaza de Aluche shopping mall. Its nearest Metro stop is one of the newest and fastest, getting you into popular Malasaña in about 20 minutes and with direct connections to catch the train to medieval Segovia or to more central areas of Madrid.
Room description
Bedroom 2 has a double bed and two nightstands. There is a bigger desk and chair, giving you plenty of room to set up a study or work-from-home space. There are two wardrobes and there is a window overlooking the balcony and the street. There is an air conditioning unit in the bedroom.
What we liked the most
- Sheets and a towel are included for all bedrooms, perfect for those traveling light!
- All bedrooms and the living room have AC, ideal for the hot and dry summers in Madrid.
- The interiors and furniture have been completely refurbished, ensuring that you'll enter an apartment in mint condition.
- There is ample storage in all areas of the apartment, giving you the space you need to store your clothes, books, and other items.
- You'll have plenty of ways to personalize the space as two of the bedrooms have a foldable desk and chair.
Things to keep in mind
- The bathroom only has a shower and there is only one bathroom in the apartment. However, there is a large wardrobe where you can keep all your toiletries in the bathroom at all times.
