No, as a general rule it is not necessary. However, in some cities like Barcelona, or depending on whether the owner of the accommodation is a company, it may be necessary to justify your temporary situation by providing a letter of acceptance from your university or a scholarship agreement. Contact our agents and they will inform you about the steps to follow so that you do not have any doubts.
Most often you do not, but there may be exceptions. Some landlords do require guarantors from students for temporary contracts. If it is a requirement, this information will be specified in the ad description.
With Spotahome you have accurate photos and videos with which you will be able to know the conditions of your accommodation before you arrive. But if in spite of that, once there, if there is something that does not fit the description, you will have 24 hours to let us know and we will help you find an alternative.
All Spotahome contracts have a minimum duration of 30 days, regardless of the country. However, some owners may set a higher minimum stay for their property. This will be clearly specified in the listing description.
At Spotahome we make sure that your deposit is returned to you, even if the landlord does not, as long as you have complied with the rental contract managed through us.
