Luxury 1 bedroom apartment in Berlin Mitte

Mitte
Because it’s unmistakable and unmissable.

You’ll love this...
As Franz said, “You are crazy, my child. You must go to Berlin.” And then he said… stay in Mitte, it’s pretty sweet.

But you won’t love this...
It’s expensive, and tourist central. It’s not hip like Neukölln.

Will I like living here?...
Mitte offers the ultimate combo of past, present and future.

It’s a concentration of the iconic: Hitler’s bunker, The Reichstag, The Holocaust Memorial. It’ll fascinate you, and move you.

It’s a delicious place to dine: Classic German fare, Icelandic burger joints and Korean BBQ. Try Hackethal’s, the Pork knuckle is super lecker (delicious).

It’s lively, late into the night: live music, laid back wine bars, boutique brew bars, and cool speakeasies.

It’s a super-cool-creative-urban-hub: Art galleries, tech startups, 3rd wave coffee, high-end fashion, and chic boutiques.

It’s unmissable.

And if you’re bored...
Schokoladen: Former chocolate factory turned underground live music venue. If punk is in fact not dead, you might find it here. Google rating: 4.6/5 And this Google review nails it: “Walked into this dusky bar to the sound of a bearded giant playing Americana on a modified guitar and singing about lost love. Appropriately, this place was filled with Berlin characters of all stripes, collectively fueled by cheap beer.” – Poetic.

Anything else?
Central city digs will cost you in Berlin. Worth it, if you can afford it.

And did you know?…
In 1961, the German Democratic Republic built a wall to separate East from West. But they failed to account for East-German determination and ingenuity.

East Berliners found many different ways to escape. The more creative methods involved hot air balloons and secret car compartments.

But perhaps the most ambitious method was digging. During the cold war, around 300 people were smuggled out of East Germany through tunnels. You can visit these tunnels – and more of the city’s underground history – at Berlin Unterwelten.

Move here to be near:
* The Reichstag * Holocaust Memorial * Museum Island * Berlin Wall Memorial * Humboldt University of Berlin * Alexanderplatz

Getting to and from the airport...
You can take a taxi from Tegel International Airport. It will cost you €25 and 20 minutes.
