It’s such a pretty little town with what’s believed to be Ireland’s oldest bridge, King John’s Bridge. It was built more than 800 years ago! And a spring was discovered in 1758, turning Lucan into a lucrative spa town. It’s teeming with history here!
Lucan is 13 kms west of Dublin city and it takes around 40 minutes to get there by bus. But prices are much lower here. And you’ll save even more by flatsharing. Plenty of workers live here because of the many business parks in the area, including Grange Castle Business Park. It’s home to the likes of Google, Pfizer, and Intel at nearby Leixlip, too.
