North of the city center, this is a popular residential area for families and students. Big businesses have their main offices here, meaning you’ll also find great shops, golf courses and parks. There’s competition for apartments and they don’t come cheap. But it’s a lovely spot to get to know Madrid.
Thousands of people work in the designer buildings of BMW, Telefónica and BBVA. Also, it’s handy if studying at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. It cuts down on commuting and is overall much more affordable.
