Morivione
Quiet and convenient.

Overview
Local.

Peaceful.

Academic.

Morivione will give you the luxury of living in a quiet but central area of Milan. You’ll also be lucky enough to have excellent public transportation.

It’s mainly residential. Those who live here will be able to see both beautiful parks and the Vettabbia Canal.

Morivione is close to both Bocconi University and IULM. It’s a popular choice for students.

There are plenty of shops nearby. If that’s not enough, the Metro can take you to the city centre in 30 minutes.

Morivione offers the best of both worlds in Milan. What’s better than that? Nothing!

What can I do here?
Università Bocconi, one of Italy’s most prestigious universities is just around the corner. They often hold free contemporary art exhibits. If you’re a student, why not visit one?

Try the birra e panini at Birreria Paninoteca Ripamonti 130. The bar is a local favourite. It has cheap beer on tap and sandwiches to die for. And best of all, it’s open until midnight. Is there a better way to spend your evening? We don’t think so.

Take in the scenery at the Parco delle Memorie Industriali. Let your children play in the park. Stroll along the Vettabbia Canal.

The canal has been around since Roman times. That makes it almost 2,000 years old. Who knows how many people have walked the same path as you?

Morivione is known for its Saint George celebrations on April 23rd. They eat their traditional pa di miglio alongside a glass of milk. Be sure to stick around and try it!

Fascinating fact
Legend has it that Morivione takes its name from a 14th century bandit who cut off the city’s trade. He was executed here, hence the word mori (“he died” in Italian). And the bandit’s name? Vione.
