Calle Alcalá is Madrid's main artery. It runs from Sol in the city centre to Canillejas on the edge of town.
On the way, it cuts Ciudad Lineal in two.
Ciudad Lineal isn't expensive. Or posh. Not like Salamanca next door. But it has the same fast metro and buses. So it's easy to get around town.
It's got Las Ventas bullring too. It's the biggest in Spain. (And the third biggest in the world.)
So no superstar struts the Saturday street...

Visit Las Ventas bullring to watch a bullfight or concert.
